Logging in

Go to the top right of your browser window and click on the 'Log in' option.

Enter your username and password on the form and click on 'Log in'.

For single sign-on users,  click on the ‘Login via My Account’ link.

Access our ‘Account recovery’ function via the 'Log in' option. You'll need to enter your registered email address to retrieve your username. You'll need to enter both your registered email and username to receive an email containing a 'reset password' link. 

For users that have logged into WTA via single sign-on, please refer to the FAQ titled 'My login credentials are not working for WiseTech Academy or My Account. How do I log in?'

The 'Keep me logged in' feature writes a persistent login cookie that lasts a month and means that you don't need to log in again for that period. You will be able to close your browser, open it up again, visit the Academy and still be logged in.

If you click 'Log off' at any point in the website banner, the cookie will be deleted and you will need to log in again. This feature does not work if your browser is in incognito or private mode.

Enrollment

It is likely you are having trouble enrolling in a course or program due to one of the following reasons:

  1. You are not logged in to your WiseTech Academy account. Go to the top right of your browser window and click on the ‘Log in’ option.
  2. There may be prerequisites that must be completed before you can enroll in this course or program. See the ’Prerequisites‘ section at the bottom of the detailed overview page for the course or program of interest, accessed via the ‘Search catalog’.

Contact us if you are still unable to enroll in a course or program.

There are two key reasons why you may not have access to view a course or program:

  1. You are not logged in to your WiseTech Academy account. Go to the top right of your browser window and click on the ‘Log in’ option.
  2. You do not have permission to view the course or program. Contact us to discuss higher levels of membership that may be available to you.

A spam filter may be blocking email messages sent to you by WiseTech Academy.

You may need to add the WiseTech Academy system's email domain (https://wisetech.academy/) to your email client or your company's mail server allow list in order to receive our emails.

Contact us if you still haven’t received your enrolment confirmation.

You can view all of your invoices via the 'Purchase history' section within 'Manage account'.

No, we require each person to be individually registered.

To successfully complete your WiseTech Academy course, you're required to pass a final assessment.

The training cannot be completed successfully using a shared user registration.

Nationally Recognized Training (NRT) is stored for thirty years. Training that is not nationally recognized is stored for five years. You may return to the system at any time to reprint your certificates via ‘My learning’ after logging in using your username and password.

It is likely you are unable to find a course that you have enrolled in due to one of the following reasons:

  1. The course may have been moved to a program that you have enrolled in for which that course is a requirement. If this is the case, you will find the course within the applicable program enrolment via ‘My learning’.
  2. The course may have been attached to a program which has now expired and been replaced by a new enrolment in that program. In this instance, you will be required to enroll in the course again. Please contact us if you would like to access your historical results or certificate.
  3. The course may have been decommissioned. Please contact us if you would like to access your historical results or certificate.

Finding content

Keywords entered into the search box in the top banner of any page will return any relevant results in the WTA search catalog. The results will be ranked based on a complex algorithm which ensures the best matches display first.

To return exact matches only, use quotes (" ") around the keyword or phrase. For example, type "freight forwarding" to return results that contain the exact phrase freight forwarding.

To return results that contain either of the key words or phrases, there are two options. You can list each of the key words or phrases consecutively or type 'OR' between each of the keywords or phrases. For example, type 'air' OR 'sea' or 'air sea' to return results that contain either air or sea.

To return results that contain all of the keywords or phrases, insert 'AND' between each of the keywords or phrases. For example, type 'air' and 'sea' to return results that contain both air and sea. (When typing AND or OR, you must use all CAPS.) 

To return results that contain variants of a root word, insert an asterisk (*) at the end of the root word. For example, type Aus* to return results that contain variations such as Aus, Australia, Australian, or Australasian.

Combinations of the above options can also be used to further refine your search results. For example, type 'freight forwarding AND sea' to return results that contain either freight or forwarding and sea.

Select filters in the search side panel will further refine your search options based on specific criteria such as price, duration, place (area of relevance), etc. Note that a new text search with existing filters applied will also filter this search.

Clear the filters to begin a new search without any constraints applied to the results.

Online training

No, you can enter and leave the course as often as you like, and you will always be returned to the same point in the course where you left it. However, you will need to sit your assessments in one attempt for each subject.

Some courses limit the number of attempts to less than five times. You will be informed of test attempt limits prior to commencing your assessment. If you are a corporate domain user and find yourself blocked from further attempts, you should contact your company’s training administrator.

If you are a direct Academy student, please contact us via our online contact form. If you are completing product courses, including certification programs, please raise an eRequest with Product: WTA, Criticality: CR9, via CargoWise My Account.

 

Yes, after successfully completing your WiseTech Academy training program, you'll be able to download and print a certificate of completion.

To download and print your certificate, ‘Log in’ and navigate to your ‘My learning’ page and click the 'View certificate' link against the completed program.

If others in your organization are encountering a similar issue, it could either be that your organization has an old Adobe version and will need to upgrade the version, that your IT department has blocked this content, or there is a firewall that may be stopping your organization from accessing PDF content from our site. Liaise with your IT department.

If this appears to be an individual issue, ensure that:
⦁ You have pop-ups enabled in your browser, and
⦁ You have cleared your browser cache

If the above steps do not fix the issue, you can try accessing the PDF content using a different browser.

For WiseTech Global software users, CargoWise users, or CargoWise Partners with existing My Account access, raise an eRequest with Product: WTA, Criticality: CR9 via CargoWise My ‎Account ‎to report any additional issues.

CargoWise Certification - For companies

To apply for the CargoWise Certified Logistics Provider (CCLP) customer program, simply go to the CargoWise website and follow the prompts to learn more and apply.

The purpose of the CCLP Program is to ensure our customers have ready access to super-users (certified staff) in all locations where they have CargoWise installed. These super-users act as a first level support resource for your staff and users, enabling better use of CargoWise and more productive operations for your business.

The CCLP discount applies to usage only and does not include any third-party transactions or CargoWise Cloud fees.

All companies need to meet the certification requirements in order to get the discount on your single database. For example, if a customer has three companies on a single database and two of these companies meet the discount criteria, but one does not, these two companies are not entitled to the discount. All three companies need to successfully meet the criteria before the discount can be offered.

To receive the discount, each location needs to meet the staff certification requirements within that location. The same staff member cannot cover numerous locations.

If the staff member is logging into the system, they are classified as one user, regardless of their employment status.

CargoWise Certification - For users

Recertification is fast and easy, and takes place direct within WiseTech Academy, via an on demand recertification course. Instead of one large exam, the recertification course now features several smaller exams to help users manage their time and exam attempts. Users will also receive an email notification three months before expiry.

If users do not recertify before their certification expires, they will lose their certification and will need to sit all courses and exams from the beginning.

You do not need to recertify as a CCO if you are certified to a higher level (CCS or CCP). Recertification is only required when your highest certification level is due to expire.

Yes. You can re-sit all exams and may do so as many times as you require.

Only your latest exam results will show, regardless of whether you have previously passed or not.

If getting certified with the Customs elective, you only need to complete one Customs course. It is recommended you complete the Customs course associated with your country. If there are no courses for your country, then please complete the Generic Customs course.

For CargoWise users, first, please ensure your name is correct within your CargoWise user profile. When your name is updated in CargoWise it will trigger an update within WiseTech Academy on your next ‎login. ‎If your name still shows incorrectly on the WiseTech Academy site, please raise an eRequest with ‎Product: WTA, Criticality: CR9, via CargoWise My Account ‎to update your name.‎

If you are an individual student, and not associated with a company, please contact WiseTech Academy ‎to update your name.‎ 

To reset your credentials, please reset your password by selecting 'Forgot your password?' on the CargoWise My Account login screen.

WiseTech Academy accounts will be automatically generated for all existing CargoWise and WiseTech Global product users. Therefore, you do not need to create a new WiseTech Academy account. If you have created a new WiseTech Academy profile, separate to your CargoWise profile, and would like to merge accounts, please raise an incident via eRequest with Product: WTA, Criticality: CR9, via CargoWise My Account. Our team will then merge your account and learning progress manually.

WiseTech Academy can be accessed directly from within CargoWise My Account. To access WiseTech Academy, simply use your existing credentials to log in to My Account and follow the prompts to WiseTech Academy.

Please note: All CargoWise and WiseTech Global product users will be provided with a WiseTech Academy account, therefore there is no need to create a new account via the WiseTech Academy homepage (this will result in duplicate accounts).

Approved Arrangements Accreditation Training for Accredited Persons (Classes 1-8 and 10-14)

The WiseTech Academy can only provide advice on matters relating to the training provided on this website. If you require information of a specific nature about the Approved Arrangements (AA) requirements, you will need to contact the Department of Agriculture, Water and the Environment (DAWE) via their website or call them on 1800 900 090.

The AA accreditation training is an engaging self-paced, online study program written by industry experts and approved by DAWE to meet the required accreditation standard.

The course is self-paced, so you can take as long as you like to complete it. As a guide, however, we would suggest you allow three hours to complete the full program. You can pause at any point and come back to your study later, where you will be returned to the same point in the course where you left.

The AA course is comprised of two subjects: Biosecurity Awareness and AA Accreditation. You are required to take these subjects to meet your accreditation requirements and ensure you get the most out of the course.

Yes, there is an assessment to take at the completion of each subject within the AA course. The pass mark for each assessment is 75%, and you will be able to have more than one attempt if you are unsuccessful at your first attempt. The course also contains a practice test, and we highly recommend you undertake this test as many times as you like until you are comfortable passing the final assessment.

If you undertook your AA Accreditation training (Classes 1-8) and have a certificate dated February 2015 or later, your accreditation is still valid. You do not need to undertake this training. Your current accreditation also provides you with accreditation for Classes 10-14. You will be advised by DAWE when it is time to renew your accreditation.

Yes, after successfully completing the assessment, you'll be able to download and print your certificate.

To download and print your certificate, simply 'Log in' and navigate to your 'My learning' page and click the 'View certificate' link against the Approved Arrangements Accreditation course.
